County Elected Officials Guide to Criminal Justice Decision Making

The Justice Management Institute is pleased to announce the release of the County Elected Officials Guide to Criminal Justice Decision Making. Our newest publication is directed at strengthening the public safety decision making role of county commissioners through a six step process that focuses on obtaining data, building collaborations and supporting reform strategies.  It was produced in collaboration with the National Association of Counties and the Pretrial Justice Institute as part of the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Smart Justice for Policymakers grant.  To view and download the document, click here.
